Registered Manager Location: Devon Duration: 2- 3 months Rate: £22 – £27 per hour Our esteemed Supported Living client is looking for an accomplished Registered Manager to join their expanding team on a 2-3 month basis in the first instance. Daily duties will include: · Being the registered manager for service, overseeing a team of 85 staff and overseeing the welfare of 33 residents (and 10 adults using the service as a day placement) · Monitor the overall operation, ensuring the care is delivered as planned, taking corrective action as required. · Ensuring all care activities are carried out and documented as per the site standards and procedures. · Oversee a programme of service reviews, driving a culture of `continuous improvement`. · The management of staff, including: a) Sufficient staffing is available including out of hours on call rotas b) Supervisory and development activities are planned and carried out · Monitor the activities of those that support the services delivered e.g. Risk Manager, Chef, maintenance team, outside activities team etc. · Manage all 3rd party relationships especially Social Service teams and NHS service providers. · Review and monitor budgets Essential experience/requirements: · Experience of working with and supporting adults with learning disabilities · Excellent understanding of the principles of high quality care and a proven track record in managing a high quality care provision · Have the required qualifications within Health and Social Care and has successfully completed a `fit persons` interview with the CQC to obtain Registered Manager status · An in-depth understanding of the regulatory and statutory requirements of a residential care home · Experience of working with 3rd party organisations e.g. Social Services, NHS service providers etc. · Demonstrably strong experience of managing staff · Strong leadership skills that inspire and motivate both residents and staff · Highly effective interpersonal skills. · Experience of financial management including budget setting and account management. · A current enhanced DBS If you feel that you have the requisite skills, managerial background and relevant qualifications or have previously been a registered manager and would like to be considered for this excellent opportunity please contact Mike Attwood or Vic Singh on or alternatively email
