Temporary Qualified Social Worker
A southern Scottish local authority are currently recruiting for two Senior Social Workers to join their busy Children and Families service. The Senior Social Worker within each locality will direct and support staff to provide a social work and early intervention service within the local area under the direction of the Locality Manager & Locality Team Leader. As the roles are locality based, Social Workers from all areas of Children and Families are welcome. Randstad can offer excellent hourly rates to the successful candidate, ranging from £30 – £35 dependant on experience. A car driver is required and experience of using Framework-I or Mosaic is beneficial though not essential. The contract will be for an initial 3 months with potential for extension. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for: Initial and Complex assessments Managing care packages Acting as a key worker for vulnerable children and their families Working with cases that involve throughcare, LAAC, Child Protection and Early Intervention Supporting the locality management team to support fellow Social Workers in their role In order to be considered for this role, you must: Have a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience working with Scottish Social Care legislation Hold a relevant Social Work qualification Be SSSC registered, or be in process of registration Be a car driver due to the isolated locations you may be required to visit Randstad Care are able to offer the successful candidate: Competitive, generous hourly rates Flexible working hours Prompt and reliable payroll Free PVG Update A dedicated one-to-one specialist An excellent referral scheme paying £200 for each successful referral Don’t put it off, interest in this position is likely to be high so we don’t expect it to be available for long.
