Full-Time Clinical Disability Assessor BT

Job Description

The Role You will be based from home or in your nearest clinic, working within a radius of your address and visiting claimants at the local consultation centre or in their own homes. A full functional assessment, including evaluating Activities of Daily Living will be completed. You will also dissect and analyse important information such as claimant questionnaires, GP documentation and multidisciplinary data. This role will allow you to be out in the community as well as at clinics, seeing a variety of people who are in receipt of disability benefits. As a contractor, you must commit to at least 10 reports a week which will take around 2.5 days. You will be paid £75 per report with a £10 bonus available for a 24 hour turnaround, and an extra £10 bonus if the report is of high quality. Work will be available 6 days a week if you choose to do so, which would give you huge earning potential. You will do a comprehensive 6-week training programme before you start doing assessments, which includes shadowing a Disability Assessor in the field. To apply you will need at least 2 years post registration experience and be NMC or HCPC registered with a valid PIN. Currently, we can only accept applications from Registered Nurses, Paramedics, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. You must be resident within the BT postcode area and have proven experience of assessing and report writing. You must also hold a valid UK driving license and be happy to drive around the local area to attend home and clinic based assessments.
